FOSSMeet@NITC 2010, a three day event on Free and Open Source Software that is being organised by the student branches of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Computer Society of India (CSI), Computer Science and Engineering Association (CSEA) and GNU/Linux Users Group Calicut (GLUGC) at National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC), Kerala from Feb 5th - 7th, 2010.
As you may be aware, FOSSMeet@NITC is one of four largest FOSS events in India, and this is the sixth successive year that that the event is being held. The meet is being organised entirely by students and is attended by school and college students, and IT professionals from across South India. The speakers form the vanguard of the FOSS movement, and are invited to present workshops and talks from all over India. Previous editions of the meet has had participations of over 400 delegates and 40 speakers.
